UK2 and Start Up Loans join forces to add value to newborn businesses.

Getting a business off the ground isn’t ever going to be achieved by waving a magic wand. But there are a few magic words that can get a start-up on its way – like discount and advice, for example.

That’s why UK2 has teamed up with the government-backed Start Up Loans project.Supported by Downing Street, Start Up Loans offers fairly-priced loans to entrepreneurs and new businesses. It also partners with renowned business experts, like The Prince’s Trust and Virgin, to give mentoring to newborn companies to nurture them in the early stages of their creation.

Since the red ribbon was cut on the project, just over a year ago, it has lent more than £71 million to 14,009 new companies. It’s put money in the pockets of a pick n mix of businesses, from toy-makers to bathroom fitters.

UK2’s partnership with the not-for-profit project starts today. For it’s part, UK2 has created a special deal designed to help start-ups and entrepreneurs get their business’ websites and online needs off the ground.

The deal begins by offering new businesses a six-month web hosting trial completely free. At the end of the trial, they have the option to get 50 percent off a two-year business web hosting package, if the start-up wants to continue running their web presence through UK2.

New businesses will be eligible for the UK2’s deal as soon as their application for their start-up loan has been approved and can redeem the offer here. Got that idea you’ve been meaning to get off the ground? Get in touch with Start Up Loans to see if you’d be eligible for their business loans and mentoring here.
