New UK2 Reseller Hosting packages targets competitors

By Andy

Hi,

We’ve recently completed a major update to our Reseller Hosting packages here at UK2.

The Details

You can now get free support callbacks, network uptime SLA, dedicated reseller support and we’ve taken away most of the limits on our top package to make sure that we are head and shoulders above the competition.

We’ve even added a reseller hosting comparison table containing details of the main UK resellers so customers can see exactly how much more they can get with our latest update.

Already a Reseller?

  • Feel like you wish you had taken our package instead of a competitors?
  • No longer getting the best deal?

Don’t despair as we’re offering a fantastic deal so you can try us out with the minimum of hassle. We’ll ‘buy out your contract’ if you’re a current Webfusion, Fasthosts or Heart Internet reseller by giving you the same amount of time free as you have remaining on your contract with any of those companies. All you have to do is contact our sales team and provide a copy of your invoice (e-mail is fine).

If you’re not with any of those but have a reseller account with a different company please still contact our sales team and they’ll see if we can match the offer.

Thanks,
Andy

Short Tera.CP and VPS.NET demo videos

By Ditlev

Hello - I thought I’d share a few of the new developments we are working on at UK2Group.

A few days ago Nicola wrote about the new control panel we’ve been working on for quite a while. We are really thrilled about it, and can’t wait to roll it out. We have named it “Tera”, and we’ve got this short video ready as a presentation of how it’s been implemented at our US dedicated server brand 10tb.com.

Check it out: Demo of Tera.CP on 10tb.com

Also, as Carlos mentioned back in December 08, the Virtual Private Server Cloud hosting setup at www.vps.net is on its way. It’s been through first and second beta round, and will actually go live within the coming 2 weeks.

See how to setup new virtual private server on the VPS.net Cloud

We have lots of new projects on the way - watch this space!

Best,

Ditlev

New Beta Control Panel

By Andy

New Control Panel

Hi everyone,

A moment that many of us at UK2 have been waiting for has finally arrived, we’re ready to open up access to our new control panel to customers!

At the moment this is still a beta test and there will still be the option to log into the old control panel if something doesn’t work quite as well as it should. Our developers have been working hard getting this ready to use but there are always some unforseen bugs to fix and features to add so please let us know what you think, or if you find any problems. New order process goes live

By Andy

Hi again,

We’ve just completed a project that many of us have wanted to do for a long time, that is to completely re-write our order process and replace the way it works with a much more intuitive and web 2.0 (to coin a buzzword!) feel.

This process has quite a lot of javascript and utilizes AJAX techniques. We’ve tested this on all the major browser platforms but either Firefox or IE7 is recommended for best results. (more…)
