Phishing attack targeting UK2 customers

We have become aware of a phishing attack specifically targetting UK2 customers, hosted by a Russian ISP.

Customers may have received a mail with a link purporting to be to the UK2 control panel – however, the URL shown in your browser at this page will end in check-uk2.net.swteh.ru/confirm.php, indicating that this is not a valid page. Any login details entered at this site will have been captured by the perpetrators.

If you have followed such a link, entered your login details and ended up at the terms and conditions page of our site rather than the UK2 control panel, we urge you to immediately go to the real UK2 control panel at https://controlpanel.uk2.net/ and change your password immediately. If you are unable to, please contact our support teams for immediate assistance.

Our abuse team are following up and attempting to contact the Russian host of the offending page to have it removed. Further updates will be posted here as more information becomes available.
