Considering our entire platform is based on perl it does seem strange that we’ve never sponsored this before, but this didn’t cross my radar until this year when an email from organiser Mark Keating to the London Perl users list was forwarded to me.
So this year we’re sponsoring the training room, a lecture room with Surevoip and contributing to the drinks and food budget, and we’ll be turning up in force to support the UK perl community too. Of course we’ll be recruiting some more developers and selling some more VPS there too hopefully (lets be honest about it).
We’ll even be bringing some goodies to hand out, so if you’re a perl developer or are interested in learning come and join us at Westminster university later on in the year. I’ll be posting further details once they are released but for now here’s the LPW sponsorship post on Marks blog.
