UK2: Taking Care Of Business

Get the latest advice on setting up a business website and some free chocolate to boot,  from the UK2 stand at The Business Show next week.

UK2 have been flying the flag for small business and start-ups for the past 15 years. So it’ll come as no surprise that we’ll be at The Business Show at the ExCel centre in London next week.

The free-to-attend show has been running for the past 31 years and its purpose is to help businesses find their next gear. Every year it attracts more than 25,000 visitors and takes up 12,000 square metres of floor space, making it one of the largest business events in Europe.

There will be more than 350 exhibitors at the event. Their stalls will showcase the latest in business solutions and technology. The show also gives you access to a programme of 250 free seminars, delivered by people like Rachelle Headland, the managing director of Saatchi and Saatchi, and Lucy Tarleton, London stock exchange director. Then there are the workshops – a series of free training sessions on essential business skills like branding, franchise and M-commerce.

You’ll find UK2’s stall at number 1586 on the event map. Our stand will be manned by the team from our Shoreditch office, including Robin McIntosh from the Marketing Department and Andy Manning our brand director. They’ll be there to chat to you about the best ways to get your website online and the keys to making sure it’s a success once it’s there.

If the chance of a chat to our team doesn’t tempt you to the stand on it’s own, the prize draw we’re running might. On both Thursday and Friday, you’ll be able to enter a competition to win an iPad mini. Then there are the choccies – we’ll be handing out free sweets, too.
