This article will show you how to create a backup of your emails by downloading them to your local machine. We strongly encourage our customers to always have a recent backup of their email.

We recommend using POP settings to download your emails to an email program of your choice.

If you’re using an Email program which is not listed above please use the following settings on your chosen program:


Without SSL

Protocol: POP3 with no SSL

POP3 (incoming mail server): mail.uk2.net

SMTP (outgoing mail server): mail.uk2.net

Username: you@yourdomain.com

Password: Your Password (Can be reset in Dashboard or CHI)

Incoming Port: 110

Outgoing Port: 25 (not recommended), 587, 8025

Outgoing Server Requires Authentication

SSL: Disabled

Secure Password Authentication: No


With SSL enabled

Protocol: POP3 with SSL

POP3 (incoming mail server): mail.uk2.net

SMTP (outgoing mail server): mail.uk2.net

Username: you@yourdomain.com

Password: Your Password (Can be reset in Dashboard or CHI)

Incoming Port: 995

Outgoing Port: 465

Outgoing Server Requires Authentication

SSL: Enabled

Secure Password Authentication: No


After you have completed the POP set-up, your emails will be downloaded from our servers which can be saved locally on your device. Be aware this process will delete the emails from our server.
