A redirect is an automatic link that diverts you to another webpage when you visit your domain. Here are instructions on how to add and remove redirects in cPanel:
In order to have access to cPanel, you must have a shared web hosting package or other service that allows you to use UK2 webspace to host a website.
Then type in the full URL that you would like the domain redirected to(example http://www.newpage.com) in the ‘redirects to –>’ field Select the ‘www’ options desired Click Add
Then type in the full URL that you would like the domain redirected to in the ‘redirects to –>’ field. For example, if you select yourdomain.co.uk in the drop down menu, you could place http://www.uk2.net into the redirects to field so that yourdomain.co.uk will redirect web visitors to uk2.net.
Select the ‘www’ options desired. Most times, you may want to use Redirect with or without www. although this is entirely up to you. This means that each time you type of the domain, it will redirect you to the desired destination when typing in www.yourdomain.co.uk or yourdomain.co.uk.
Click Add
The new redirection will be activated instantly, and will appear at the bottom of the page.
**To remove a redirect, just click Remove next to the redirect at the bottom of the page main redirect page.**
