Do I need coding or design experience?+
No. Describe what you want to create in everyday language, and Launch uses AI to build it. You can then ask for changes or use the visual editor to refine your design. Review your content and test your website or app before publishing.
What types of websites and apps can I build?+
You can create business websites, landing pages, portfolios, blogs and web apps such as booking pages, contact forms and record-keeping tools. You can also build prototypes and simple games.
Launch creates browser-based projects. It isn’t designed for native iPhone or Android apps, desktop software or complex enterprise systems.
What is included in the free trial, and what happens when it ends?+
The free trial gives you 30 days, 500,000 AI credits and one website or app, with access to a selection of open-weight AI models. Paid packages include all available models.
To continue using Launch after your trial, choose a paid package. We’ll send reminders before the trial ends, giving you time to select the package that suits you.
If you don’t purchase a package, your trial access will end.
What are AI credits, and what happens if I run out?+
AI credits measure your use of AI-powered features, including building and updating your project. You can see your balance and usage within the builder. Direct text edits in the visual editor don’t use credits, although some other visual changes do.
On a paid package, if you run out, you can wait for your next monthly allowance, buy a one-off top-up or upgrade for a larger ongoing allowance. Top-ups start at £4.99 excluding VAT for one million credits, valid for 60 days.
Is hosting included, and can I use my own domain?+
Yes. Every paid Launch package includes hosting and SSL, and you can connect a domain you already own.
Can I edit my website without affecting the live version?+
Yes. Changes to your website’s design and code appear in a separate preview before you publish them. Review the changes, then click Publish when you’re ready to update your live website.
Can I accept online payments?+
Yes. Launch supports Stripe integration for one-off payments and recurring subscriptions. Ask the AI to add the payment features you need, then test the checkout before going live.
To accept real payments, you’ll need to connect your own verified Stripe account. Standard Stripe processing fees apply.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my package?+
Yes. You can move to a higher package when you need more projects or a larger monthly credit allowance, and downgrade when your needs reduce.
Before downgrading, your projects and resource usage will need to fit within the lower package’s limits. For an occasional increase in AI usage, you can purchase a top-up instead of changing your subscription.
