How To Create A Subdomain In Your cPanel Account



This article will show you how to create a subdomain through your cPanel. Subdomains are URLs for different sections of your website. They use your main domain name and a prefix. For example, if your domain is yourdomain.co.uk a sub-domain of your domain might be support.yourdomain.co.uk.

To add a subdomain please do the following:

STEP 1: Login to your cPanel account at yourdomain.co.uk:2082

STEP 2: Select Subdomains

STEP 3: Input the subdomain you would like to create.

Use the dropdown box to choose the correct domain. Enter the document root path. Select Create

subdomain

You will receive confirmation that the subdomain has been created.

You have now successfully created a subdomain.
