Server & Management
What server options are available?

You can choose between a VPS or dedicated (bare metal) server. We'll help you decide based on your business needs.

What operating systems can I choose from?

You can select either AlmaLinux 8 or Rocky Linux 8 for your server.

Can I change server specs or upgrade later?

Yes – both VPS and bare metal servers are upgradeable at any time.

Do I need to manage the server myself?

Yes – unless you opt for Supreme Support, which includes expert help, security updates, and priority troubleshooting.

Will you update PHP, MySQL, Apache, etc., or is that our responsibility?
Yes – your new server will be provisioned with the latest supported software if we handle the migration. Ongoing updates are your responsibility unless Supreme Support is enabled.
Pricing & Licensing
What’s the total monthly cost?

£35/month – Server
£33/month – cPanel Metal 100 licence (up to 100 accounts)

Optional extras:
£2 per account – Hassle-Free Migration
£55/month – Supreme Support
£4/month per IP – Additional IPs

Your first month is free when you migrate.
Can I keep using WHMCS or other billing tools?

Yes – but you may need to update licence details if they’re tied to your current environment or IP.

Can I use Softaculous, JetBackup, or other plugins?
Yes – we can install these for you. Licensing fees may apply.
     Migration Process
How will the migration be performed?

We use cPanel’s official WHM Transfer Tool, which ensures accurate account replication, including email, databases, settings, and more.

      Will there be any downtime?

Downtime is minimal. We co-ordinate DNS changes to minimise service impact. DNS propagation may cause brief delays post-migration.

        What will be migrated?
        - cPanel accounts
        -Email accounts & forwarders
        - Cron jobs
        - Passwords
        - Databases
        - Autoresponders, DNS zones, and most settings
Will I need to update DNS records?

Yes – your server will have a new IP, so A records and other DNS entries must be updated. We can assist if you manage DNS with us (Supreme Support includes this).

          Will SSL certificates still work?
          - AutoSSL / Let’s Encrypt: Reissued automatically.
          - Custom/Purchased SSLs: Can be reinstalled. Support included if you choose Supreme Support.
Will account structure and reseller levels be preserved?

Yes – we’ll recreate your WHM account and multi-reseller structure as closely as possible. Advanced setups can also be discussed.

Can I split accounts across multiple servers?
Yes – we can help plan multi-server setups if needed.
             Network, Bandwidth & IPs
Will my IP address stay the same?

No – shared IPs cannot be transferred. Your new server will have a unique dedicated IP.

              What are the bandwidth limits?
              For bare metal servers:
              - 4-core 3.5GHz CPU
              - 16GB RAM
              - 1TB HDD
              - 5TB bandwidth
              - 1 Gbit NIC
              - 1 free static IP

Additional usage is billed as overage. VPS bandwidth may vary.
Can I request more IP addresses?
Yes – additional IPs are available at £4/month per IP.
              Timing & Requirements
              When will this migration happen?

You must complete this Migration by 5th May 2025.

What happens if I don’t migrate?
Shared reseller hosting will be decommissioned. Migration is essential to avoid service disruption.
