At this time UK2 does not allow Anonymous FTP access. Anonymous FTP would allow direct access to a portion of your website without requiring a username or password. Without authentication, you would be putting your account at more of a risk of being hacked as you do not know what other users would upload into your website.

With most of the UK2 Hosting packages you are able to create FTP users that are limited to viewing and uploading to certain parts of your website. You can learn about this by looking at the article, “How to create FTP accounts in cPanel”. Creating multiple FTP account will allow you to know who is uploading to your website allowing multiple access points without creating extra vulnerability.

If you have any questions about this process, please feel free to contact our support teams through live chat or by submitting a support ticket within your UK2 CHI dashboard.
