How To Create An Addon Domain in cPanel

In this article, we will show you how to create an addon domain through your cPanel account.

An addon domain allows visitors to reach a sub-directory of your cPanel account directly by typing the addon domain’s URL into a browser. For example, if you create anotherdomain.co.uk as an add-on domain to your main domain yourdomain.co.uk, you will be able to access the sub-directory of your main account, by going to anotherdomain.co.uk. This will give the appearance of having two independent websites without having to buy an additional Webhosting package on every domain.

**The addon domain will by default create a folder within the /public_html/folder of your hosting package.**

Please follow these steps to add an addon domain:

**All pictures are for reference only. The actual layout of your interface may differ from the images below**

**You will need to change all references of yourdomain.co.uk to the main domain on your hosting account.**

Step 1: log into your cPanel account at yourdomain.co.uk:2082.
