If you have chosen to use PayPal as your payment method within your online store you will need to enable the Express checkout option on your PayPal account first.
You will need to log into your PayPal account and click the ‘Seller preferences’ tab on the left side of the page under “Selling tools => Seller Preferences” as the image shows above.
Look in the left hand side column for the API access option in your ‘Seller Preferences’ area. Click ‘Change’ on the right hand side as shown in blue in the image above.
Scroll down to the link titled ‘Enable Express Checkout’ and click.The link is located on the left hand side of the page near the bottom. See the image above for reference.
You will need to make sure that the first option is selected as show in the image above. The option will read: “Accept PayPal payments before API permissions or credentials are set up.”
Click the ‘Submit’ button. By choosing this option you will enable PayPal Checkout Express to be ready for use. Just add your PayPal email to your online store as a payment method and you will be able to begin taking payments online.
