Now that you have activated your Free StarterSite Account, you are ready to start designing your website. You can begin by selecting the domain that you are adding your StarterSite single-page website to. Once a domain is selected, you will have access to the StarterSite templates available. Follow the steps below to build your StarterSite web page.

Step 1. Choose the template that will best represent your new website by choosing an industry from the dropdown menu.

Step 2. Below the template section, you will find a form where you can enter the contact information for your organization. You may notice that your CHI account has prepopulated the information for you. You can leave the information in the form or make any changes that you would like to appear on your website. Take note that as you type, your StarterSite preview will display the changes made.

The necessary contact information is as follows:

  • Name or Company Name
  • Email Address
  • Telephone Number
  • Mobile/Cell Number

You can also choose whether to display your business address on your StarterSite web page. Simply toggle the button ON or OFF. If you do decide to include your business address, then StarterSite will also include a map at the bottom of the page for you.

Step 3. Below the information form, you can enter a description of your business and your social media details for various platforms, including:

  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • LinkedIn
  • Google+
  • Skype

Step 4. Once you have entered the necessary information and contact details, you can preview your StarterSite single-page website. If the preview is correct, click the Publish Your StarterSite button to save your details.

Congratulations! Your domain is now configured with a free StarterSite web page.
