How To Backup Your Database Using PHPMyAdmin


PHPMyAdmin is a tool used to manage your database. You can use it to backup your website. Follow these instruction to create a PHPMyAdmin backup.

Step 1: Log into your cPanel. Locate and click on "phpMyAdmin."



Step 2: Once you are inside phpMyAdmin, you will be looking at a settings page. Select the Database you wish to back up on the left.



Step 3: You will now be looking at a list of tables inside the selected database. Select the "Export" tab at the top of the page.



Step 4: You should now be looking at the export options page. To back up  the entire database, it is usually best to select the "Quick" Export  Method and use "SQL" Format. Click "Go" once you have selected your export options.



Step 5: Your Database will now download using your web browser's default download program.
